Advancements
Villagers at Work has its own advancements tab. It follows your village as it grows: the first ones teach you how the mod works, and the rest mark each supply chain as it starts running.
Who earns them
Only the owner of a single-player world. On a server there is no tab at all, and if you open your world to LAN, your guests earn nothing.
Villagers do the work, not you, so you earn an advancement the first time the moment happens anywhere in your world, wherever you are standing.
Who did it
Earning one is announced in chat, as vanilla’s are. When a villager involved has a name, a line saying what it did comes first, and when two villagers are involved both are named:
Ruth the cartographer took paper to Oswald the librarian.
A villager without a name is called by its job: Ruth the cartographer took paper to a librarian. With MCA Reborn every villager has a name. A vanilla villager has one once you give it a name tag.
Both lines follow the announceAdvancements gamerule.

With the MCA Reborn extension, four more join the same tab:
| Branch | Advancement | You earn it when |
|---|---|---|
| Military | On Guard | A guard takes gear from an armory |
| Military | Suited Up | A guard wears armour in all four slots from the village’s armories |
| Military | Spoils | A guard brings its loot to a cleric |
| Healing | Patched Up | A hurt guard drinks a potion before it gears up |
A shelf that was already beside a workstation when you installed the mod does not earn Villagers at Work by itself: place a new one, or wait for a villager to take a job at one.
