Armorer

Smelts raw ore into ingots at its blast furnace and makes metal armour and shields for swordsman MCA guards. Its ingots also go to a weaponsmith, a toolsmith or a shepherd that needs ingots in their shelves. The armory is one of its customers, not one of its own needs: when both are waiting, the armorer tosses a fair coin to decide what to do next: restock one piece into its armory, or serve one of those shelves. If no one in the village is in need of ingots, the armorer does not smelt ores. Its armory is optional. An armorer without one never asks for one: it just smelts and supplies ingots, so you can keep an armorer for smelting alone. When your guards need armour they tell you (see MCA Reborn).

Armour is made from whatever ore you supplied. Stock gold and you get gold armour. Copper has no armour recipe, so copper ingots go to the toolsmith or weaponsmith. If planks are provided it shall make shields too.

Ingots work as well as ore. If you already have iron, gold or copper ingots, put them on its shelf instead: the armorer makes armour from them and takes them to the smiths as they are, without smelting, and needs no fuel for them. Fuel is only needed while it has raw ore to smelt. It never asks for ingots itself; when its shelf is empty it asks for ore.
