Farmer’s Delight

Supported throughout, touching three professions.

Farmer

• Rice — harvested from the bank, taking only the panicles so the plant regrows. Rice it carries is planted from the bank too, into open water beside rice already growing, so a paddy fills out and the pond that keeps your farmland moist is left alone
• Tomatoes — harvested by hand so the vine survives and keeps producing, including vines climbing ropes up to three blocks. A vine that is lost from a tomato row is replanted from the farmer’s own tomatoes
• Cabbage and onion — handled like any other crop
• Rich Soil — recognised, preferred over plain dirt, and tilled into Rich Soil Farmland. The farmer does not make Rich Soil; you supply it.
• Knife — harvesting rice with a knife gives rice and straw directly instead of panicles that need a cutting board

Butcher — an FD knife is better than an axe for culling. It guarantees an animal’s secondary drop (a cow gives 1–3 leather instead of 0–2) and pigs can drop Ham, which is obtainable no other way.
