Progression

The mod has a natural arc that follows your world’s own progression.

Tier 1 — before copper. Villagers work and fill their local containers. You empty them by hand. Fully functional, entirely manual.

Tier 2 — the copper age. You have copper chests and possibly golems. Villagers walk their own output to storage and golems sort it. It works, but every profession loses shift time to the walk.

Tier 3 — haulers. Something else does the walking and villagers stay at their stations. Under allays this is a real reward: you have to find allays in pillager outposts or woodland mansions and duplicate them with amethyst. Under villagers this is basically merged with Tier 2.

Each tier removes a cost rather than adding a mechanic, so there is nothing new to learn at any step.

In a single-player world, the mod’s own advancements tab marks the same arc as it happens: see Advancements.
